Dumb, dumb, dumb. You add bananas and strawberries then wonder about sugar spikes?!? You should not be evaluating sugar spikes and then claim that you are testing whether or not 'oatmeal' spikes sugar level. I'm astounded by how dumb this is. Impress me by eating a bowl of steel cut oats and nothing else, then measure your sugar levels.

Isn’t an implication of Dr. Lustig’s comments about medical schools being underwritten by big pharma that most modern doctors are trained in a biased and perhaps corrupted methodology? 🤔 If so, isn’t this a much bigger problem than stated? 😮

Dr. Lustig has a conflict of interest which is that he is the owner of a fiber company that makes junk food “healthier.” It is hard to believe each of these 6 things are true. In my experience, too much fiber can cause constipation. Ask people with IBS what they eat and likely it is plenty of fiber, but not enough animal fats, collagen, and amino acids. Plus if you have abnormal gut flora, fiber will feed pathogenic microbes as much as the good bacteria, making the condition worse. I thought the fiber reduces colon cancer risk hypothesis was already debunked because of its source in faulty, observational science. Healthy bowel movements mean you are less likely to develop colon cancer, whether you are eating fiber or not.

Good afternoon. I am a Type 2 Diabetic that has taken Ozempic & Rybelsus for 3 short periods of time. Each time the 3 month $5000 insurance charge would bottom out my insurance causing me to quit. At this point Jardiance was suggested which I research and said no. I went back to Metformin and Pioglitazone, along with my Carvedilol and Spironolactone. BUT, I continued my research into all these drugs as well AND into other natural ways to attack my Type 2 issues. Since that time, I have learned of a death by Ozempic to a woman trying to lose weight for her daughter's wedding. I have also discovered some other natural things to use. By doing this I have reduced my blood pressure meds (Carvedilol) by 3/4 dosage. I have also reduced my Metformin dosage by 1/3. Still working on all of this. Personally...I don't want to be on these drugs for the rest of my life ! All of these drugs set you up for supporting BIG PHARMA for the rest of your life or kill you in the process. I have also gotten off bread, potatoes, sugar, and lost again the weight that I had lost with the Ozempic/Rybelsus. I have learned how to make bread with cottage cheese and red lentils but don't even make that very often. I also quit soft drinks! I occasionally drink Zevia now (still love that fizz...), but not very often. I'm sure you didn't want so much of this info but thought it went well with your interview...which I enjoyed. BTW...I've also got your book, GOOD ENERGY !

It’s just like those Covid tests that gave everyone on earth a positive reading when they didn’t have Covid and a negative reading when they had full blown Covid.

It amazes me to see simple humans know how the body really works. No matter how many degrees you what you know is minuscule. There is an enumerable amount of intelligence in our body that we never comprehend. It is the essence of a life force; the manifestation of God himself as a creative force. The little piece of us - the brain - is a tool for this intelligence to maneuver the colony cells that constitutes the organism in its environment. Keep in mind that a single cell has more intelligence; enough intelligent to create a BRAIN. In short we mess thing we do not truly understand or only have small understand. When run across an antibiotic, it work to kill bacteria and it also interfere with the body’s mechanisms. The reason we say antibiotics are safe, is because the body’s intelligence is able to make changes to reverse the bad effects and stabilize the system. The only thing that know hour fix you from the inside on a cellular level is your own body and as long it exactly what it needs, it can fix the problem or prevent from happening in the first place. You are supposed to live up 100 years. When it comes to cholesterol, know one knows anything. Cholesterol is not disease. Leave it alone!

This is off topic but, in the same realm of how our bodies are indeed individual. My mother was diagnosed with breast cancer about 6 years ago she had her surgery and was told she was “ cured.” Sadly they didn’t get it all and it spread to her brain categorizing it as “ brain cancer.” She passed away a few months after that diagnosis. What I learned and didn’t know prior was that there is more than one type of breast cancer. Think of breast cancer awareness and how they promote it to receive donations ( knowing their is more then one type) and yet, still no cure. Every woman’s body is different we know this because of how our pregnancies go. It’s the same for diseases. Some may react to treatment perfectly, while others may not. Our bodies are so unique to us as humans. What works for one person may not work for you. I don’t see why food, exercise, diseases and etcetera would be any different. It makes perfect sense to me.

Seems like it’s time to revise the glycaemic index as it’s not just a matter of one size fits all. Nutritionist draw up diet plans that are apparently healthy but for some people these generic diet plans could make things worse. When I experimented with a CGM I was very surprised and fascinated at my response to some foods.

Dr my fasting insulin is a high. Even though I eat a low carb diet i don't eat any carbs sugar or sugary stuff. I know that I dont eat enough fibers.! I am under a lot of stress. Hubby has cancer.can this be the reason my glucose is high.? Sometimes just drinking only black tea! I feel like my muscles are breaking down! I eat OMAD and do intermittent fasting is 18/ 6 so what am I doing wrong? I eat no carbs or fruits. Someone said I am eating too little. The only thing is that I have a lot of stress and cortisol is very hiigh! My glucose is very hight and takes a while to go down I used to excercise a lot but cannot do it so much now because of sciatica and back pain. I don't drink alcohol or eat sugar.at all or process foods So what else can I do to bring insulin down. My body is in constant pain! So noow I get it I have chronic inflammation and stress in my body! What gets me is my doctor dont tell me about things I could do to fix my insulin he only want to prescribe drugs for it. I only use herbs, natural Ayurvedic meds. I think I need more Vitamin D. So I need Vitamin D' Fiber and Omega 3 ,also A L A . I have no gallbladder.so
